Project Description
How long have you lived in the bay area?
I was born and raised in San Jose, I relocated to Sacramento in 2015.
What is your fondest childhood memory?
Camping and beach days with my family were always my favorite memories as a kid.
What subject(s) did you study at college?
I attended SJCC and received my Cosmetology Certificate which I later became licensed for.
What was your first job?
My very first job was a fitting room attendant in a high-end dress store, in the middle of prom season (yikes!).
Who has been the most influential person to you in your career?
My parents and my fiancé have all played critical roles in career path.
How has your career created value in your life?
I have always considered myself to be a worker, it provides me with a sense of accomplishment. Without work in my life, I feel incomplete.
What do you consider to be the most significant world event that has occurred during your lifetime?
9/11 was a very significant world event that I remember the most.
What is your most memorable travel experience?
The first time I went to Hawaii. I was 16 and while I was on the airplane, I started noticing all these little red bumps on my arm. By the time we landed, the number of bumps had doubled. Yep, I found out I had Chicken Pox while at one of the most beautiful places on earth! I had to quarantine the whole week, but thankfully had a spectacular hotel room view of Maui!
What is the funniest thing that’s ever happened to you?
I can’t think of a particular time that was funniest in life. I thrive on making as many moments as funny as I can!
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
That would have to be where I am currently in life. Being a homeowner with the love of my life, working for a great company, and getting to enjoy every moment has been the greatest journey that I don’t take for granted.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
If I’m not working, you can almost guarantee I’m in my woodshop building and creating. If you can’t find me there, I’m gardening. And if you can’t find me there, you better send out the search party because my dogs probably tackled me while playing catch.
If you could possess one super-human power, what would it be?
I think I’d have to say time travel. Not only to visit and see my loved ones, but to visit different times of the world. There is so much to see and learn.
