Have you ever lived in the bay area?
I was born and raised in Springfield and St. Louis, Missouri (with a few years in Texas). I currently reside in Springfield and work remotely for RLA.
What is your fondest childhood memory? Fondest memories would be all the backyard baseball/football/soccer games played with other kids in the neighborhood.
What subject(s) did you study at College?
I started down the accounting major path and stuck with it.
What was your first job?
My first job was when I was maybe 14. There were some new houses being built in the subdivision I lived in, and my dad somehow got in contact with the builder to ask if there were any odd-jobs for me. The builder said they needed someone to sweep and straighten up the unfinished basements. I said would take care of it.
Who have been the most influential people to you in your career?
I suppose observing managers and partners at the different firms I’ve worked at have helped shape my attitude and approach to everything from problem solving to soft skills.
How has your career created value in your life?
It’s helped me set goals and see them through.
What do you consider to be the most significant world event that has occurred during your lifetime?
As some other bios have mentioned, September 11 was definitely a major geo-political event in my lifetime with the effects lasting all the way to the present day.
What is your most memorable travel experience?
I was lucky enough to travel to Venice, Italy when I was 14 with my parents. I still remember walking in St. Mark’s square and the amazing food.
What is the funniest thing that’s ever happened to you?
Hmmm. The first date with my now wife was a tropical themed party in college. I accidentally spilled my margarita on her….and she’s still with me!
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
My mad foosball skills.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
My spare time is spent with my family doing outdoor activities, DIY projects, family movie nights, swimming, and playing with my dogs.
If you could possess one super-human power, what would it be?
Laser eyes, obviously.
