How long have you lived in the bay area?

I have lived in the Santa Cruz Mountains for almost 30 years. I love our little town.

What is your fondest childhood memory?

My fondest childhood memory is riding on the backs of our parents’ bicycles with my best friend.

What subject(s) did you study at College?

I majored in Corporate Finance and Taxation.

What was your first job?

My first job was working at Kmart after school.

Who has been the most influential person to you in your career?

My husband has been my pillar of support, cheering me on with every step.

How has your career created value in your life?

Going back to school and changing my career to taxation has changed my life. I have a better understanding of business and have learned to connect with a wide variety of people.

What do you consider to be the most significant world event that has occurred during your lifetime?

The most significant world event that has happened in my lifetime is the Covid-19 pandemic.

What is your most memorable travel experience?

When our blended adult children, their families and my parents all met at Yellowstone to go camping for our family vacation.

What is the funniest thing that’s ever happened to you?

I one of the funniest things is when I pulled my sheriff cousin into the pool.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?

Going back to college as an adult.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I enjoy knitting and crafts, spending time outdoors.

If you could possess one super-human power, what would it be?

Be able to travel between places quickly so I can spend more time with my family.
