How long have you lived in the bay area?
I was born in California, but raised in Astoria, Oregon and moved to Corvallis, Oregon in August 2011 with my son.
What is your fondest childhood memory?
My fondest childhood memory is riding my bike and playing around the neighborhood until the street lights came on.
What subject(s) did you study at College?
I started in Business management, switched to Accounting when I realized I really like working with numbers.
What was your first job?
My first job was doing year-end inventory for Owl Drug Store.
Who has been the most influential person to you in your career?
All the strong independent women throughout my life. They inspire me and keep me striving to be the best version of me.
How has your career created value in your life?
My career has broaden my horizon, joining volunteer boards, contributing my knowledge in professional settings while giving back to my community.
What do you consider to be the most significant world event that has occurred during your lifetime?
The biggest event that has happened is 9/11. I remember spending the whole day watching the coverage while sitting with my family.
What is your most memorable travel experience?
This would be the many summer road trips between Oregon and California to visit family while I was growing up. I remember the car games with my sister and brother, the state boarder checking for house plants and fruit. And no trip to California was complete unless we visited Disneyland, grandma always made us go on it’s a small world with her.
What is the funniest thing that’s ever happened to you?
I think one of the funniest things is when my grandmother convinced me my parents had lied to me and I was actually a year younger than I thought.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
My son, Trevin, he is my world and I couldn’t be more proud of him and enjoy watching him grow into a wonderful young man.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I am up for spontaneous adventures. I also like visiting with my son and friends, volunteering, roller skating and hiking to waterfalls.
If you could possess one super-human power, what would it be?
Control time, limitless power in doing so.
