Cassie Denzler

How long have you lived in the Houston area?

I have only been in Houston for a year. Prior to that I spent about 13 years just north of Indianapolis.

What is your fondest childhood memory?

My fondest childhood memory is involvement in Bible Quizzing with my Church. We memorized 500+ verses a year and traveled all over the country competing. It was a fun experience!

What subject(s) did you study at college?

My undergrad is in business management and my Masters in Accounting.

What was your first job?

My first job was working for K-Mart as a pharmacy technician.

Who has been the most influential person to you in your career?

Chun. She taught me a lot about grant accounting and non-profits.

How has your career created value in your life?

Serving and helping others. Accounting services does just that.

What do you consider to be the most significant world event that has occurred during your lifetime?

I used to think this was 9/11. However, COVID has superseded that event. COVID has reshaped the world.

What is your most memorable travel experience?

In 2003 I served in missions in Kiev, Ukraine. Although my time there was short, it left an impact on my life. Kiev will always hold a special place in my heart.

What is the funniest thing that’s ever happened to you?

Walking out of a public bathroom with toilet paper stuck on my shoe.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?

Never quitting.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I enjoy Barr and running when I have the opportunity.

If you could possess one super-human power, what would it be?

I would like to be able to extend time. There is never enough time in the day!
