How long have you lived in North Carolina?
I was born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA, moved to Orlando, FL for a year, and am now settled in Asheville, NC.
What is your fondest childhood memory?
Summers with my brother and our two neighbors. The four of us were inseparable.
What subject(s) did you study at College?
Accounting, from start to finish.
What was your first job?
I worked as a waiter at Cracker Barrel.
Who has been the most influential person to you in your career?
My wife has pushed me to be my best self every single day. I would be off the rails without her.
How has your career created value in your life?
Running my own business at the start of my career taught me self-motivation and an entrepreneurial spirit that I will carry throughout the rest of my career.
What do you consider to be the most significant world event that has occurred during your lifetime?
Covid. I wasn’t old enough to remember 9-11, but covid had the same sizable impact & is a big reason why it is possible to be fully remote now!
What is your most memorable travel experience?
My mom has a ton of family in Philadelphia, so probably one of our many trips up to Philly for cheesesteaks, “wooder” ice, and Phillies baseball.
What is the funniest thing that’s ever happened to you?
I try to have a good laugh every day. Laughter is one of the best medications in life.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Completing my bachelor’s degree in 2.5 years. Took a ton of hard work & long nights.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love hanging with my family, friends, playing disc golf, and playing guitar & drums for my church.
If you could possess one super-human power, what would it be?
Being able to read minds. I want to know if what people say is really what they think.
