Robert Lee & Associates, LLP is looking for a professional interested in an Audit career. This position is for a Pacific Northwest, remote opportunity that services clients throughout California.
Position Summary
- Work with all levels of company staff and begin to develop the knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), United States Generally Accepted Accounting Standards (US GAAS), and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards
- Assist in audit, review, compilation and tax preparation
- Examine client financial and accounting records, documents and tangible items
- Work closely with clients, testing internal controls, while maintaining independence from management and directors
- Perform quality control review of draft financial statements
- Assist in preparation of compilation review and audit engagements
- Begin to attain knowledge of accounting pronouncements and demonstrate a basic income tax understanding
- Travel for client meetings, department retreats, and for continuing education
- Progress professionally by passing the CPA exam
- Support management with various projects
Position Qualifications
- BA/BS in Accounting
- 6 months to 1 year of Audit experience preferred or 1 year business or accounting experience
- Ability to complete multiple projects within time constraints and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service-oriented
- Comfortable working remotely individually and on teams
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Annual Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000
